Advocacy Boot Camp is designed for local leaders—new, experienced and up-and-coming—and their UniServ/Executive directors to attend together. Session offerings are up-to-date, relevant and are reflective of the current issues and legislative changes that have taken place in recent months.

Topics to be covered will include: Forming community-based partnerships Value-Based Health Benefits Right to Work for Less Political action and engagement Value of MEA membership District fiscal responsibility and financial clarity Keeping the PUBLIC in public education Engaging new members in their union Evaluations, PERA, revised school code
