8th Annual MEA Scholarship Fund Golf Outing
Registration deadline for MEA Scholarship golf outing May 30
Registration deadline to play in the eighth annual MEA Scholarship Fund golf outing is fast approaching—it’s Thursday, May 30.
This year’s outing is slated for Monday, June 23, at Eldorado in Mason, just south of Lansing, and gives players the chance to support an event that provides college scholarships to public school students across Michigan.
In seven years, the golf outing has raised more than $257,000 for the MEA Scholarship Fund. Since 1997, the fund has awarded more than $189,500 in scholarships.
Golfers will tee off at 9 a.m. in a four-player scramble format, with a dinner program and drawing for quality prizes following the outing. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided at the course.
Your registration and entry fee of $120 must be received by May 31. A portion of your $120 fee to play will be tax-deductible. You also can show your support by sponsoring a hole or by making a direct donation to the Scholarship Fund. The hole sponsor donation and direct donations are completely tax-deductible.
