Professional Issues in Higher Education Conference

Presidents and officers of our locals are invited to participate in an information exchange. Administrators and campuses tend to face similar issues simultaneously (e.g. state appropriation cuts, hiring of contingent faculty/employees, retrenchment, free speech, intellectual property rights). It will be useful to know how the issues are surfacing on campuses across the state and to meet presidents and officers from other locals. Each president or officer will articulate two or three issues that are affecting their campus and how the local leadership is contending with those issues.
