It’s a vote to the finish—help Adrian students win! Deadline Dec. 4.
Jonathon Tobar doesn’t teach video production, he teaches Spanish. But when he saw a video contest that could mean $30,000 in new technology for his Adrian High School classroom, he challenged his students to take a chance. The video they came up with is now the only Michigan entry in the finals in a national contest sponsored by eInstruction—and they need your help to win. The contest winner will be determined by the most number of votes, so the team is hoping everyone will head to the link below to vote for their entry. Tobar’s team has worked hard—first by creating an innovative music video, and then by spreading the word to other students through cyberspace. They helped translate a message to other languages so that people from around the world could help them reach their goal. If they win, it will mean new mobi-boards, video cameras and computer equipment that will enable them to interact in ways they never have before. “The students use technology in their everyday lives. They’re used to it and it makes learning interesting and exciting for them,” said Tobar. “If we won this contest, it would open up new ways for them to use their growing language skills.” See the team’s video and vote for their entry at: http://eimakeover09.shycast.com/submission/show/243. Deadline for voting is Dec. 4
