National contest highlights children’s authors
The National Association of Elementary School Principals is accepting entries for its third annual National Children’s Book Award contest.
Authors have until March 15 to submit their manuscripts for a chapter or picture book geared toward an audience between ages 3-16.
One winner in the chapter book category and one winner in the picture book category will be offered contracts to have their books published by Charlesbridge Publishing of Boston.
More than 1,000 entries were submitted in last year’s contest.
