2008 NEA Representative Assembly

Delegate Dialogue — Friday, July 4

Linda Robinson, Muskegon

Why did you decide to be an RA delegate?
“So that I could learn more about what the school systems are like across the states.”

Why is it important for your members that you are here at the RA?
“Here I can learn about what NEA’s objectives are and what we can do to be up-to-par. I can also make sure we get access to the help that’s available to us along the way – especially for my newer members.”

What are some of the key issues that ESP delegates are talking about here in D.C.?
“Safety in schools. Wages. Issues that pertain to everyday living like the economy and cost of living. And trying to find other areas or topics that ESP members may want to pursue.”
