MEA’s main telephone switchboard is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Aug. 21. Reporters calling MEA’s toll-free or general telephone numbers will not be able to reach communications staff after 4 p.m., if using those numbers. The media hotline is the best option for reporters working on deadline after 4 p.m. on weekdays.
