Legislation to make Michigan a so-called "right-to-work" state could be introduced literally any moment now. MEA members are urged to come to Lansing TOMORROW to join a team of citizen lobbyists in telling lawmakers to vote NO on right-to-work.
It is critical to have a strong showing from MEA members at the Capitol tomorrow. School employees and retirees must make their presence felt and their voices heard.
MEA members will meet tomorrow morning at the Michigan AFL-CIO, 419 S. Washington Ave. in Lansing, to undergo a quick training before departing for the Capitol. Members will receive key updates, talking points and everything else they need to take action.
