Your contributions needed to "ImPACt the Future"

Electing friends of public education must be every MEA member’s No. 1 priority in the Nov. 7 general election.

Your vote and your contribution to MEA-PAC are critical components in electing candidates who support public education and public school employees.

Your contribution to MEA-PAC will be used to help the campaigns of MEA recommended
candidates in critically important races—governor, the state House and Senate, the Michigan Supreme Court and State Board of Education and university regents.

U.S. Senate and congressional races are supported by the contributions you send to the NEA Fund for Children and Public Education.

It bears repeating: These elected officials make the decisions that affect your jobs and working conditions and the education of your students.

Remember, by law your dues dollars can’t be used for political purposes. Only your PAC contributions can ensure the election of pro-public education candidates on Nov. 7.

These friends of public education are recommended by your colleagues from around the state. More than 500 MEA members sit on committees that analyze candidate voting records, questionnaires and positions on public education issues only before making recommendations.

The key to “ImPACting the Future” for you and your students is donating to PAC. Make your contribution on the Web at www.meavotes.org or see the PAC chair in your local.
