Does a school’s size contribute to school success? At tiny Hillman Junior/Senior High School, staff and students say they’ve been able to get to know each other better because everybody knows everybody. Pictured on the cover are Hillman teachers, back row from left, Katie Lee and Scott Cordes, and counselor Kim Sumerix, and students Kayla Tauriainen and Dustin Vanderveer. U.S. News & World Report magazine cited Hillman as one of the nation’s best high schools.
