Golf Outing

7th annual golf outing on June 18 to benefit MEA Scholarship Fund

Golf outingYour chance to support the MEA Scholarship Fund and collegebound Michigan public school students— and have fun doing it—comes Monday, June 18.

That’s the date of the seventh annual MEA Scholarship Fund golf outing at the Eldorado course in Mason, south of Lansing.

In just six years, the golf outings have raised more than $216,000 for the MEA Scholarship Fund. Since 1997, the fund has awarded more than $175,000 in scholarships to public school students across the state.

Golfers will tee off at 9 a.m. in a fourplayer scramble format, with a dinner program and drawing for quality prizes following the outing. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided at the course.

Show your support on June 18—by playing, sponsoring a hole or making a direct donation to the Scholarship Fund. A portion of the $120 fee to play golf will be tax-deductible. The $125- hole-sponsor donation and direct donations are completely tax-deductible.

Sign up today. We’ve had record numbers playing golf the past two years, so it’s important to register now to secure a spot in the outing. Registration deadline is Thursday, May 31. Entry fees must accompany registration.
